How do I get started?

Connect
Reach out to your neighbors to see who is interested in starting a Community Watch group. We recommend creating an email list or phone group.

Identify
Decide who is going to be your Community Captain(s) and Co-Captain(s) that are willing to play an active role in leading the group.

Reach Out
Once you have the needed support for your Community Watch, fill out the interest form below to be contacted by a Thornton PD representative.

Commit
Ensure your watch group actively works in collaboration with Thornton PD to increase the safety of individuals and security of residences.

Plan
Set a date for your initial Community Watch meeting and our officers will attend. We will also provide you with fliers to help promote your meeting.
